A Visit from Japan

This past week my brother in-law visited us from Japan. Well he actually came here to work and one of the perks was that he also came to visit us. The first night he arrived we took him out to eat at a pretty fancy place. I invited one of my best friends, Connie to join us. She's usually the life of the party and i thought making it a foursome would be better than a threesome. It turned out to be a wonderful night a great meal. The bill was pretty up there $300+ but it was so worth it. It's a rare moment we get to see the in-laws. My husband has been on top of the world this past week. He misses his family so much and it's been nice to see him in such a happy mood. The only thing i'm not going to enjoy is watching his face as he tells his brother goodbye till next time. We went shopping last night and he bought a bunch of stuff for his family. Of course we had to contribute to that as well. It was a fun night, expensive but fun. We are going to see him again tonight, it's his last night here and we won't be able to see him off tomorrow. He leaves on an early flight. We will miss him and loved every moment that we got to spend with him. We always think of my husbands family since they are all living else where. It's far and few in between that we get to see each other. Hopefully we'll be able to meet up again for another reunion. Those are always fun and memorable.
